When gaming takes over, we focus on balance, not battles
A Motivation-Focused Approach
We don’t believe in quick fixes or strict rules that only lead to more conflict. Instead, we focus on three simple areas:
Choice – helping gamers feel some control, so rules don’t just feel like punishment.
Skills – building the ability to handle routines, responsibilities, and emotions.
Connection – strengthening family relationships so home life feels calmer.
This way, gaming can fit into life, rather than life fitting into gaming.

Parent Support When Kids Don’t Engage
It’s okay. If your child or teen isn’t ready, we work with you, the parent(s), directly. You’ll still get tools to reduce conflict, set up calmer routines, and feel more confident at home, without needing your child in front of the psychologist. As appropriate, we always prioritise working with the gamer. However, refusal from the gamer doesn’t mean change in the gamer is impossible.

We work alongside you to: make gaming less stressful at home, reduce fights and late nights, build your confidence as a parent, and helping gaming become a healthy part of life again.
