Feedback informed treatment

Have you ever seen a therapist before and felt unsure if you or your child is improving, or how you or your child is improving?

Have you wanted to share feedback to your therapist about how you’re working together, but have felt too awkward to initiate the conversation?

Have you ever left therapy or withdrawn your child from their therapist because you felt it wasn’t working?

Whether you’ve experienced the above questions, or care about quality in therapy, Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) is for you, which is what we offer at Skill Tree Psychology.

Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) is an evidence-based approach in psychotherapy that systematically and routinely seeks feedback from clients regarding both the therapeutic alliance (how well client and therapist are working together) and client outcomes (the progress a client is making). By incorporating real-time feedback from clients, therapists can better tailor therapy to individual needs, thereby improving outcomes and reducing dropout rates. Preventable dropouts are critical in building the best client care.
